The Room Division is composed of departments and functions, which play essential roles in providing the service guests expect during a hotel stay. Front office and housekeeping department fall under rooms division.
The Front Office is the most visible department in the hotel, with the greatest amount of guest contact. The front desk itself is the focal point of activity within the front office. Guests are registered; assigned rooms and checked out at the front desk.
Housekeeping and laundry are almost important front office support sections. They inspect rooms for sales, clean occupied and take care of the property’s linen.
This course is designed to meet the knowledge and skills required for a person to work in the entry level in the rooms division of the hotels.
